Der BD63524AEFV ist ein Schrittmotortreiber mit 1/8 Mikroschritt (Achtelschritt)-Ansteuerung. Was seine Grundfunktion betrifft, so handelt es sich um einen bipolaren PWM-Konstantstromtreiber mit niedrigem Stromverbrauch mit einer Versorgungsnennspannung von 36V und einem Nennausgangsstrom (DC) von 2,5A. Die Eingangsschnittstelle ist vom Typ CLK-IN. Die Schrittmodi Full Step & Half Step, Quarter Step, Eighth Step werden durch einen internen DAC (D-A-Wandler) erreicht. Für den Current Decay Mode kann das Verhältnis von FAST DECAY & SLOW DECAY frei eingestellt werden, so dass optimale Regelbedingungen für jeden Motor realisiert werden können. Darüber hinaus trägt die Möglichkeit, ein einziges Stromversorgungssystem zu nutzen, dazu bei, dass das Set-Design einfach wird.
