Der BD7690FJ bietet eine Leistungsfaktorkorrektur (PFC) für AC/DC-Systeme, die für alle Produkte geeignet ist, die eine Verbesserung des Leistungsfaktors benötigen. Die PFC verwendet den Boundary Conduction Mode (BCM), und durch Zero Current Detection (ZCD) ist eine Reduzierung der Schaltverluste und des Rauschens möglich. ZCD wird durch eine Hilfswicklung erkannt.
