BD8878FV ist ein Ausgangskoppelkondensatorloser Linienverstärker. Dieser IC verfügt über einen integrierten negativen Spannungsgenerator und erzeugt die direkt geregelte negative Spannung von der Versorgungsspannung. Es ist möglich ihn in einem Massenbezug mit beiden Spannungen, der Versorgungsspannung und der negativen Spannung, zu betreiben. Daher haben diese Leitungsverstärker einen breiten Leistungsbereich und der BD8878FV kann 2 Vrms (5,65 VP-P) mit einer Einzelversorgung von 5 V ausgeben.
