The quasi-resonant controller type DC/DC converter IC BM1Q0xxAFJ-LB provides the optimal system for products with electrical outlets. For quasi resonant vibration operation, soft switching is realized, contributing to low EMI. The switching MOSFET and current sensing resistor are external, allowing for highly flexible power supply designs. This IC has a built-in starter circuit that contributes to low standby power and high speed startup. When the IC is light load, the standby power is reduced due to the built-in burst operation function and the lower current consumption of the IC. It also has a variety of built-in protection functions such as soft start function, burst function, over current protection per cycle, over voltage protection, overload protection, and built-in the CS pin open protection, providing excellent safety.
