Der ML7425A ist ein Sub-GHz-Funk-Transceiver-LSI mit geringem Stromverbrauch, der HF, ZF, MODEM und HOST-Schnittstelle in einem einzigen Chip integriert. Die HF-Frequenz unterstützt einen Bereich von 145 bis 1.020 MHz. Außerdem kann ein programmierbares Kanalauswahlfilter einen Empfangsbereich von 1,7 kHz bis 1.200 kHz unterstützen. Der ML7425A kann für den F-Modus (434 MHz) und den S/T/C/R-Modus (868 MHz) im europäischen Telemetriestandard (Wireless M-Bus), japanische Funkstationen für Sicherheitssysteme mit geringer Leistung und spezifizierte Funkstationen mit geringer Leistung (ARIB STD-30, STD-T67, STD-T108) sowie für weltweite Sigfox-Standards verwendet werden. Der ML7425A umfasst IEEE802.15.4g- und Wireless M-Bus-Paketverarbeitungsfunktionen.

Evaluation kit for evaluating RF performance
The evaluation kit (evaluation board, control board, software) is available for transmitting and receiving tests of the ML7425A.
The ML7425A evaluation kit provides GUI interactive software for PC for easy configuration of transmit and receive tests. In addition, by using the RF test macro, TELEC test items can be measured immediately.
