Explain the operation of the auto power save function in the BHxxPB1WHFV series of LDOs.
- The auto power save function automatically switches between high-speed mode (when the output current is large) and low consumption mode (small output current) by monitoring the output current in the IC. Current detection has a hysteresis between 0.3mA and 1.2mA. In high-speed mode, the circuit current becomes 20uA and the load response gets faster. In low consumption mode IC current is reduced to 2uA to minimize power consumption.
